Brief Description: The Pioneer Square Art Fair and Summer Market will feature at least 40 vendors selling art, crafts, and locally made goods. There will be live music from a diverse range of artists, food and drink from local restaurants and bars, and activities for all ages. The event will take place in Occidental Square and is designed to bring together the community and celebrate the arts in Pioneer Square.
Goals: Our goal is to promote arts participation and community relations through meaningful and unique experiences. We aim to foster community, encourage participation, reach a diverse audience, and provide accessibility for people of all physical capacity. Our hope is to make this an annual event, adding to the cultural fabric of Pioneer Square and making it a destination for locals and tourists alike.
Benefit to Pioneer Square Neighborhood: This event will benefit the Pioneer Square neighborhood by bringing together the community, supporting local businesses, and showcasing the talent of local artists and artisans. By creating a tradition with the Pioneer Square Art Fair and Summer Market, we hope to add to the vibrancy and cultural richness of the neighborhood.
Public Participation and Benefit: The public is invited to attend the event free of charge and participate in the many activities, including shopping, live music, and food and drink from local vendors. This event will provide an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the arts, as well as support local businesses and artists.
