The Squarea is a region of Seattle typified by its Richardsonian Romanesque architecture and history of wanton commerce.
The Squarea’s boundaries follow the foot print of Old Town Seattle with Pioneer Square at its center. Extending north past the market into Belltown, south to North SoDo and east to the Central and International Districts. Each of these areas surrounding Pioneer Square are distinct yet share a common history and aesthetic.
Squarea is also the name of PictureSeattle.Online’s new youtube channel dedicated to covering Pioneer Square and its surrounding environs. Our first video (produced by Bob Trombley of the Pike Place Podcast) is a D&B crawl through Post, Nord and Unnamed alley.
