November 2020 – Artwalk in the Squarea

Ok, fine. No responsible person is going to a big indoor event right now – get that thought out of your head. But what if it wasn’t a “big event”? What if it was a series of small events done safely and discreetly? What if it was in Seattle’s oldest neighborhood in its most storied streets. Don’t tell anyone but that’s what Artwalk 11/20 is and it’s going to be better than you think.

What to expect from Art Walk, 11/20

First of all there is no Art Walk. Art Walk is Dead, Long Live Art Walk, if you must. It’s BS because if you’re like me you “Art Walk” the Pioneer Squarea every month whether it’s sanctioned or not. There is no city in America that makes art more accessible than Seattle and no place more than Pioneer Square. None of that was changed by the pandemic but what has changed is the approach.

Art Walk is DIY

Very few venues can promote events. It’s only because galleries sell things to the general public that they’re allowed to be open. What this means is they can feature artists and sell their work, you can come in and look at it if you’re there as an art lover/ supporter of art and respecting proper pandemic etiquette. What that means for you is you can go, if you follow the rules, they just can’t invite you.

Who is showing what?

Ahhhhhh good people….. That is where we come in. We will tell you what galleries, eateries and danceries are doing to keep art and business alive in America’s Favorite Pioneer Square and we’ll leave it up to you if you want to enjoy it in person or just enjoy the pictures we can share.

Because we can’t do it all we encourage you to use the following links to get you going on your own personal art walks,
