Seattle’s historic Pioneer Square neighborhood is gearing up to launch the holidays with a festive two-day market. Taking place December 8-9, the Holiday Market promises more shopping, skating and family fun for all.
Organized by the Alliance for Pioneer Square, this year’s expanded event will run from 3p-7p on Friday and 12p-4p on Saturday. Over 40 local retailers and small businesses will fill tents in Occidental Square, selling unique gifts and seasonal items. Neighborhood restaurants, cafes, bars and snack shops will also be on hand offering delicious options.
A highlight is the return of the free public ice skating rink, sponsored by the Downtown Seattle Association, with skate rentals provided at no cost. Last year, local DJ’s got the party started on the ice, this year will be no exception, so get ready to boogie!
Don’t forget the Fall Harvest Market is just around the corner, too! Pioneer Square is open, come on down!
